Craig Revel Horwood played Strictly for laughs by giving host Patrick Quilty a big fat zero for his opening monologue on the Late Late Show on Friday.

“This woman and I have a lot in common,” Patrick said. We’re both from Dundrum.” Annie Dundrum from Dublin responded sarcastically: “Does your Dundrum have a shopping centre?”
“My Dundrum has Brennan’s shop,” he replied, before adding more trivia. “We both went to Queens [University]We both worked for the BBC.
“We have two kids,” Annie said. “With English accents,” Patrick noted.
Craig Revel Horwood then said: “Found out I’m 33% Irish. I’ve had a DNA test, darling. I feel great here,” adding that his Irish roots go back to Munster.
As Annie talked about her Irish identity and the fact that she had lived in England for 25 years, Patrick pointed out that she had turned down the MBE offer.
When he asked her why, Annie replied, “Do I need to explain?”
Patrick’s response? “That’s as good an answer as any.”
“It was nice to be recognized, but the language was so crazy,” she explained. “It was like something from another century.”

Earlier in the show, former rugby star Brian O’Driscoll and his gorgeous girlfriend Michaela Morley, an organ recipient, spoke to Patrick Quilty about the importance of organ donation.
“The only message I want to get out there is that it’s Organ Donation Week,” Brian said. “Having an organ donation app on your phone, or talking to your loved ones and telling them you want to do so.
“I know I had that conversation with my wife to make sure that if the unthinkable happened you were giving life to other people.”
He added: “It’s important for people to see the life Michaela has been able to live – she’ll be finishing her Leaving Cert in a couple of months. She’s had a day off from school today!”
