“Had a dream I was king, I woke up, still king.” -Eminem

Previously hip-hop culture was considered as only black music as it was originated in New York of Black, Latino, and marginalized communities. Hip-Hop was a fusion of various cultural forces and influences but just because its major influence was from the black culture it was not liked by white people. The entry of Eminen into hip-hop music world changed the entire scenario. Because of him white people also started listening to hip-hop music and rap culture started to take the leap from there. So we can say Eminem played a great role-taking hip-hop or rap culture ahead.

Not to deny the fact that he was Crtisized also in his early days but he made his mark in this industry that's why he is considered as the king of rap these days. Not only because of him people Worldwide start taking interest in rap or hip-hop he also helped hip-hop to grow financially also.
